摘要

Light weight designs bring the chatter phenomenon occurs on some vehicles. The chatter is harm to the structure, the ride comfort of the passengers and brings noise to the environment. The chatter of the vehicle is a result of self-excited vibration of the brake system due to the interaction between the dynamics of the bogie structure and the dynamics of the friction braking process. The numerical simulation and test results show that the chatter is related to the brake unite support, the chatter can be avoid by adjust the parameters of supporting of the brake unit of the bogie frame.
