摘要

Based on the physical model test results, this paper presents an analysis on sediment deposition characteristics and fluvial processes in the Baiheliang reach during the first period of thirty-year operation of the Three Georges Reservoir. Results of this research provides useful information for establishment of protection schemes for the Baiheliang Carved Stone, a cultural and historical remain in the reservoir area.
