An AIRSAR Analysis of Angkor, Cambodia

摘要

An examination of AIRSAR imagery over Angkor, the medieval capital of the Khmer empire, has provided new evidence on the extent and spatial organization of the urban complex. A very marked pattern of low-density dispersed occupation and irrigation networks has been identified far beyond the temples of Angkor, extending from Lake Tonle Sap, north to the Kulen Highlands.
