摘要

Syngas, a mixture of CO and H_2, is a feedstock for many improtant industrial processes. The catalytic partial oxiation of methane (POM) to syngas is a promising alternative to steam refoming which is currently practices isn industry~(1). Compared with steaming reforming process, the ROM reaction would offer many advantages including the sonsumption of less energy due to its mild exothermic nature and the formation of syngas wit hmore favorable H_2;CO ratio for use in Fischer-Tropsch and methanol synthesis processes.
