摘要

The external pre-stressing structures have been widely applied to the bridge engineering. For the need of the precise calculation, the material nonlinearity and the second-order effect of external pre-stressing cables are considered. A nonlinearity spring element called-combination-39 in the commercial ANSYS software is adopted to simulate the friction effects between external pre-stressing cable and the deviator. Both solid and one-dimensional elements are used, respectively, for reinforced concrete part and pre-stressing steel bar. Then, a finite element (FE) model is established for an externally pre-stressing concrete beam. The ultimate load is calculated. The parameter analysis is performed. The Load-deflection curve for the whole loading process is obtained. The result is valuable for the design and construction of this bridge type.
