Along with the rapid increase of knowledge as well as the constant enforcement of knowledge to economy and society, it has been very necessary to establish such a new subject-Knowmetrics. Knowmetrics is an interdisciplinary subject with the overall human knowledge system as its object, which is studied by way of metrology and is a methodological branch of the Knowledge science that is going to shape. It is studied on the metrological analysis in the respects of production and application, distribution and diffusion, input and output, flow and store as well as value and price of knowledge, etc. It can be widely applied in the measurement of knowledge economy, and certain progress has been made in the practicable study on it This article are focally briefed the initial achievements made in the study on the international comparison of the social knowledge abilities of such countries as China, India and Malaysia.
