摘要

Finite-cover element-free method is a new numerical computational method. It is based on finite cover technique of numerical manifold method and element-free method. Finite-cover element-free method inherited merits of both numerical manifold method and element-free method. It makes front disposal very simple. And finite-cover element-free method makes it easy to implement the procedure of numerical simulation. In this paper, crack expansion of semicircle disc and cutting-through of cracks are simulated by this method. It is proved that finite-cover element-free method is effective to analysis problems of cracks.
