Partial Discharge Localisation in Power Transformers with Delta Connected Windings

摘要

Using the high frequency behaviour of windings for localisation of partial discharge in three phase power transformers with star connected windings was investigated earlier. In this contribution a new approach for localising PD activities in power transformers with delta connected three phase windings is introduced and the result of experimental measurements is presented. A new localisation method based on comparison of real PD pulses with the pulses picked up during calibration is suggested.
