Quality Control of Ready-mixed Concrete in Japan

摘要

To guarantee the quality of ready-mixed concrete, three measures have been taken in Japan. The first one is to check factory of ready-mixed concrete accordance with the Japanese industry standard. The second one is to check the qualities of the ready-mixed concrete such as content of chloride ions and water in fresh concrete on site besides normal tests because they may give a great influence on strength and durability of concrete structures. The third one is to establish a national unification inspect system of quality control on ready-mixed concrete. In this paper, the three hands of measures for guaranteeing the quality of ready-mixed concrete are introduced.
