摘要

Magnetic fluid TLCD (MF-TLCD) is a novel type of semi-active damper in which the natural frequency can be controlled by applying magnetic field. In this study, we tuned the natural frequency of a column of magnetic fluid to excitation frequency, and demonstrated that the damping performance can unproved compared with the case without magnetic field.
