摘要

The results of investigations into magnetic characteristics of ferromagnetic steel being magnetized by an external homogeneous magnetic field, and biased by a superposed magnetic field which was not conterminous with the direction of the magnetizing, are presented in this paper. It is shown that the superposed magnetizing results in reduction of magnetic permeability of steel in the direction of magnetizing field, even under the effect of elastic mechanical stresses upon the steel.
