The detection device (1) has a transformer (7) with a ferromagnetic core, a primary coil for a detection signal and a secondary coil for measuring the detection signal. The transformer is magnetically coupled to a pre-magnetization device (8,9), for magnetization of the ferromagnetic core, so that magnetic saturation is obtained when the control magnetic field of the magnetically transmitted control signal is in the same direction as the pre-magnetization field.
