The performed diffusion coefficient measurements are proved and they contribute to the practical interpretation of the behaviour of the antiozonants in the rubber. Their determination has been therefore established as the standard method, and it is used for the evaluation of the potential of the new developed antiozonants. It is not necessary to overestimate the importance of migration rates, their values are not sufficient for the determination of the effect and the efficiency of the new substances. However, the determination of the diffusion coefficient helps to interpret correctly the results obtained by experiments. The data obtained could be used at the same time in the role of the aid in the design of the stabilizing systems for the practical use. The importance of the results and methods established is in the following areas: 1. design and test of the new substances - antiozonants 2. contribution to the understanding of the mechanism of the antiozonants effect 3. design and formulation of stabilizer systems 4. correct selection of the conditions of antiozonants test
