摘要

In the present work, we describe the development and properties of new thermoplastic- and thermoset-ionic liquid dispersions. The lubricating effect of ionic liquids has been studied in epoxy resin, and polyamide 6 (PA 6). The effect of ionic liquids has also been studied in polycarbonate (PC) nanocomposites obtained by dispersion of ceramic nanoparticles. In this case, the ionic liquid can change the morphology and distribution of the nanoparticles.The influence of ionic liquids on the wear mechanisms has been studied by SEM and TEM microscopies and EDS microanalysis. The thermal and mechanical properties of the new polymer-ionic liquid dispersions will also be discussed.
