The paper investigates the phenomena associated with soil-structure interaction when reinforced concrete slabs are subjected to unsymmetrical transient loading from an inclined explosive charge. The modes of damage associated with the charge positions relative to the embedded slabs (burster slabs) are discussed, followed by a damage analysis of two clamped slabs (roof slabs), focusing on their ability to remain functional during a series of cumulative loadings. Two independent groups of tests were performed, including and omitting embedded slabs (burster slabs), supported by the soil.
