Rich liquid crystal phases and their nutual transitions have been found in semall molecule liquid crystals~([1,2]). Ordered structures can be inuced by mechanical shearing, electron field, magnetic field, and surface effects~([3,4]). For main-chain liquid crystalline polymers, it is difficult to obtain higyly ordered phases and homeotropic molecule alignment because of their higher viscosity. Therefore, homeotropic monodomains induced by the surface effects in polymer case is an interesting phenomenon~([5]).
