摘要

This paper presents an approach for determining the expected cycle time for class-based storage policies in an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). The approach was developed for the operation of an AS/RS with a multi-shuttle system in single- and double deep racks under multi command tours. Especially the impact of incidental rearrangements in double-deep storages subject to the storage filling degree was analyzed and accounted for in the cycle time calculation.
