Fuzzy Control for Medicine: State of the Art and New Perspectives

摘要

In this paper, some medical applications of Fuzzy Control are reviewed and discussed, showing how the medical operators can increase their performances, mainly in the most technological branches, such as cardiology, anaesthesia, metabolism diseases, drug administration, dialysis. In particular, adaptive techniques and stabilization properties of well designed Fuzzy Control can produce a personalized therapy protocol, easy to be implemented, that can lead to significative time and cost savings, and, at the same time, to an increasing of global efficiency.
