Safety assessment of weld cracks in cylinder of pre-hydrogenation reactor

The safety of a pre-hydrogenation reactor with four weld cracks is analyzed on the basis of assessment standards of pressure vessels with flaws. The conclusion is that the reactor with these cracks is safe under normal operating conditions. Considering the possibility of the cracks further growing, it is suggested that the reactor should be repaired as quickly as possible.
