ESTIMATING MISSING AND FALSE DATA IN FLOW METERS OF A WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK

This work deals with the design and implementation of a signal analysis methodology to estimate the missing and false data of a large set of flow meters in a water distribution network telecontrol system. In a complex water distribution network, such as the case of Barcelona city, a telecontrol system must acquire, store and compute thousands of flow meter and other sensor data every few minutes to achieve an accurate monitoring of the whole network in real-time operation as well as for their integration in a management system.
