The new mini-fab I have just described is a strategic resource for Ericsson. We will be using it for security production of strategic ASICs, and as means of speeding up microelectronics developments as quickly as possible. It was planned from the start to meet these specific needs. It was installed extremely quickly - just 19 months from greenfield site to the first functional die. And the very first wafer yielded!
