Geophysical Methods Over Pacific Rim Deposits

摘要

Geophysical surveys are currently being carried out over mineral prospects all around the Pacific Rim. Many of these surveys are succefful in locating mineralisation in porphyry intrusives, mesothermal environments, and epithermal evin systems. A number of examples of surveys in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea are presented, which show the successul application of various geophysical techniuqes to the discovery of mineral deposits on the Pacific Rim.
