This paper discusses the basic theory and technology for implementing a DGDSS(Distributed Group Decision Support System). In order to extend the range of decision-making without the limit of geography area, it adopts Internet and information technology and tries to find the integration of them, that is, adopts Browser/Server and Client/Server system structure to implement this system. It uses object-oriented and visual programming method to develop the customizing function of client system and some technologies such as expert system and artificial intelligence to process the decision-making. All these wonderful technologies extend a new field of the application of information technology and at the same time DSS get new development in the information age.
