OPERATIONAL SAFETY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR SYSTEM AT THEDUKOVANY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT — EXPERIENCE WITH INDICATORAGGREGATION

The operational safety performance indicators serve as an important tool of performance monitoring andrnmanagement at the Dukovany NPP. A software-supported system has been developed, which hasrnincluded: data collection, central data storage, graphic output production and periodical report generation.rnAnalyses of performance indicator trends together with evaluation in respect of annually updated targetrnvalues and acceptance criteria is used for operational safety reviews forming an integral part of continualrnself-assessment process.rnThis contribution has been focused on experience obtained during development of the operational safetyrnassessment model using indicator aggregation. It summarises problems that had to be paid specificrnattention in the development process. Thanks to their solution, the model has become a synoptic monitorrnand a useful tool for operational safety assessment.
