The city of Huzhou, situated on the southern bank of the Taihu Lake in Yangtse River Delta, with Shanghai to the east, Hangzhou to the south, Nanjing to the west, Suzhou and Wuxi to the north, is the only city famous for the Taihu Lake in the region surrounding the Taihu Lake. Huzhou administers the counties of Deqing, Changxin, Anji and the districts of Wuxing and Nanxun, with an area of 5817 square kilometers.
