摘要

There are some research activities about the relationship between high-temperature compression strength of structural steel column members and material yield strength, but is few results that consider young's modulus. In this paper, material tensile tests, young's modulus tests and compression column tests at high temperature were conducted to clarify the characteristics and to examine if existing column design formula for normal temperature would be able to be applied. It was reported that using the stress when the strain is 1.0% and the static young's modulus, high-temperature compression strength of structural members could be evaluated.
