Influence of wall characteristics and internal structural equipment on bulk materials pressure

This paper described silo test facilities and devices for tests of bulk materials loads with the application of two basic test silos models. The first of them is characterized by variable adjusted flexibility of the wall and types of discharge tubes (with vertical or horizontal slots), whereas the second one has different exchangeable internal wall configuration and internal structural equipment (inverted cones). The paper present the description of two basic silo test models, as well as their modifications on which tests of bulk materials pressures have been carried out. In the paper selected tests results has been presented.
