Using DEVS for an extended UML

摘要

It is known that to properly represent a system, it is necessary to observe it at least according to three points of view: the data, the functional and the behavioral points of view. The analysis of the UML language on the one hand and of other behavior specification languages on the other hand, demonstrates that this objective can be reached in the case of transformational systems, whose behavior is always described by sequence diagrams. In this paper, we propose to use the DEVS formalism to replace sequence diagrams and to validate the specification of reactive systems by simulation.
