摘要

Enhanced diffusion offers distinctive advantages for industrial chromatography. By polymerizing high-charge-density hydrogels within the gigapores of rigid ceramic supports, it is possible to manufacture sorbents that maintain high dynamic binding capacity (DBC) at high linear velocity or elevated ionic strength-conditions where conventional sorbents display significant capacity or productivity limitations.
