摘要

The laminar flow patterns and mixing performance of T-shaped and double-T-shaped micro mixer with rectangular cross-section have been investigated using computational fluid dynamic (CFD) which means that the flow field and mass transfer are described by a set of partial differential equations. For this aim FLUENT 6.2 program are used to evaluate the mixing efficiency. The numerical results showed that the presented Double-T-shaped micro mixer has a highly efficient performance over T-shaped mixer, it could increase the mixing effect by increasing the number of contact area between mixing fluids. Mixing efficiency as higher as 98%, within mixing length not more than 950μm are reported.
