To this day and to our knowledge it seems that all papers in the theory of second order linear matrix systems oscillations have assumed that the solutions concerned are conjoined, and so only conjoined solutions can be oscillatory. Nothing is said about the oscillations of non-conjoined solutions of the same equation. In this article we present some criteria for non-conjoined (or non-prepared) solutions to be oscillatory.
