Village Governance and Civic Society

摘要

The village people committee system play very important role in aspects such as expressing the village people interests, regulating the society antinomy, provide the public service, maintain the social public order etc. However, acting as the carrier of the village people autonomy system, the village people committee still has many problems to grow the civic society and practice the village good governance. The author find the main reason that village people committee failed to improve and become the benchmark of the social governance is the absence of the social capital and civic society in country village. Therefore, the author concluded that combination of promoting the social capital of village and growing the village civic society, improving the village people autonomy system, is the optimal path for the good governance mode in country village.
