摘要

This paper introduces a method to detect the surface roughness of steel-roller in manufacturing process based on the theory of light-scattering. Equipped with hight stable voltage and current's source, the measuring system used halogen-tungten lamp as light source to smooth away the unstable old light source affected the measuring accuracy. The measureing accuary of the instrument can be reached from 0.01 μ m to 5 μ m(Ra).lt can be automatically scaled according to the standard sample block by the user and applied to detect the surface roughness of steel-roller from 0.01 μm to 2.5 μ m(Ra) in manufacturing process.
