Rotary UPS Systems for High Power Applications

Today's highly automated production processes as well as the omnipresence of computers in our daily working environment, increase the need for a highly reliable and high quality power supply. The source of power disturbances can be located both externally at the utility side as well as internally in the own company. A means to prevent economic losses due to poor power quality is the usage of a Power Conditioning System (PCS) or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). In the following extract we introduce a high quality dynamic UPS system that allows for significant power quality improvement in a power range up to tens of MVA's. These systems can be used both in low voltage and in medium voltage applications.
