Technology and Humanity The Alliance

This paper presents the problem and challenge technology is creating for the human condition, namely, inhumanity. Technology is a cold, impersonal messenger of information, brilliant but cold. Like the tin man in the Wizard of Oz, technology lacks heart: the fundamental essence of human qualities; sympathy, pity, warmth, compassion, and the like. This paper presents one unique and effective process that bridges the gap between emotional development and ever progressing, high-speed technology. It incorporates the requirements of human development with the best of modern digital technology in The Movie Making Process~R. It introduces "the alliance" between the needs of humanity and the lure of technology, the very best of both worlds.
