1. Coprocessing pigment during the fibrillation of pulp to form NFC/MFC can increase efficiency, runnability and performance of such products in applications (compared to post addition of pigment) 2. Binder additives (e.g. guar and CMC) can increase the performance of (pigmented) NFC/MFC composites - Coprocessing in presence of additive is beneficial 3. (Metal) ions (electrolyte) may also be used to adjust the performance of (pigmented) NFC/MFC composites.
