摘要

1. For samples prepared from neat cellulosic materials, no cytotoxic effects the 3T3 cells were observed. This was valid for: 1.1 Thin and dense structures 1.2 Open and porous structures 1.3 MFC produced mechanically 1.4 MFC produced with TEMPO-mediated oxidation as pre-treatment 2. The sample containing the antimicrobial surfactant (CTAB) was toxic as expected. 3. Some reduction in cell proliferation was observed for the sample crosslinked with Polyethyleneimine (PEI) using the BrDU test.
