摘要

Nuclear analytical technology can be used to characterize pollution, to follow the environmental fate of pollution and to determine pollutant or toxic element concentrations with great sensitivity. Fluorine pollution control is one of six serious problem in China. There is stronger toxicity with big fluorine concentration. The toxicity of fluorine is 10 to 100 times bigger than that of sulphur dioxide. In general, plant contains fluorine of 5-25ppm and its metabolism will be hindered with over 100ppm of fluorine. The chronic fluorosis will take place in the persons who sucks up the excessive fluorine through polluted plant, animal or water, air. Furthermore teeth with fluorine and fluorine-invaded bone disease will appear if more serious.
