摘要

Biological production and its products are the starting materials of marine biogeochemical cycles of elements in marine environments. Marine organisms accumulate not only major biophile elements (C, N, P, Si, S, etc.) but also trace biophile elements. But data on multi-element compositions of marine biological products have been quite limited (e.g., Bowen, 1979) especially for phytoplankton samples of known species. The purposes of the present study are to obtain multi-element compositions of phytoplankton samples and to clarify the relationships of multi-element composition among these samples.
