This paper studies a general simulation model which can be used for almost ship_based alerting and searching sensors simulation, building up a digital simulation system to imtate single sensor multitarget data association process. The system describes the process of single sensor data association in detail, such as building up a new trace and giving it a batch number, cancelling a target trace which is not in seaching scope, especially considering several target move modes and sensor resolving power, and having a pithy interface by which users can appoint one posture from a posture storehouse, select imitated sensors and control starting and ending of simulation. Experiments indicate that the simulation system is wholly applicable to the test and evaluation of single ship multisensor data fusion.
