A Novel Fiber Optic Acoustic Sensor System

摘要

This paper describes a self-interfere optic fiber sensor (SOFS) system which can be used to detect acoustic emission companying the damage in structures. In this system, a fiber optic Bragg grating is employed to narrow the bandwidth of the light and the Michelson interfere can be easily realized without special phase match device. The sensitivity, stability and reliability of this system are evaluated systematically by experiments.
