KINETIC MODEL APPLICABLE TO THE SYNTHESIS OF Fe-Cr PIGMENTS OF COMPOSITION (Cr_xFe_(2-x))O_3

摘要

A mixture of Fe_2O_3-Cr_2O_3 (50:50 by wt) was used to study the effect of temperature and reaction time on the degree of advance of the synthesis process. The experimental data were fitted to a kinetic model typically used for correlating solid-solid reaction data.
