Material aging and life assessment of high-temperature boiler tubes

The service environment of high-temperature boiler tubes is very severe, and it is difficult to predict the remaining life. In recent years, the author studied the aging behavior of steels 12CrlMoV, G102 and T22, which used commonly in boiler tubes, and presented a new comprehensive method of their remaining life assessment. The paper overviewed those results.
