Fulvic acids have been extracted from terrestrial environments in the Eastern and Central regions of Ghana to facilitate a comparison with fulvic acid samples isolated from the Northern Hemisphere and also to provide the basis for continued research into the role of these organic substances in far field scenarios of the nuclear waste management exercise.
