Internet is a powerful information transportation system which achieves information sharing in an easy and efficient way. All end users around the world are capable of connecting to networks and retrieving useful information through public sites. Under this scenario, a popular site may incur a large volume of requests. Therefore, a well designed architecture of a site is essential for handling this situation. The site should be robust enough to avoid single point of failure, as well as to provide information integrity for data transmitted. Information privacy and user authorization and authentication are not concerns since the site is publicly accessible. This paper proposes a fault tolerant site architecture with multiple servers and presents a scheme to protect information integrity by applying undetachable signature technique.
