An Intellectual Property Right Protection Scheme For Digital Images Using Support Vector Machines

Due to the rapid growth of the Internet, digital data have becom e very easy to access and duplicate today. As a result, intellectual property right protection has become an important issue. Watermarking is one of the methods to solve this problem. In this paper, we shall propose a modern digital watermarking scheme to be run in the frequency domain converted with Discrete Wavelet Transform; at the same time, we shall also exploit the outstanding generalization ability of Support Vector Machines (SVM's) to improve the robustness of the proposed watermarking system.
