Inserting A Virtual Node Layer In The Basic Case Retrieval Network For Improving Inquiry Function In CBR

In CBR Basic Case Retrieval Network(BCRN) is put forward by Lenz and Burkhard. Now make an extension for it. In extension of BCRN a "virtual node layer" is inserted between "information entity node layer" and "case node layer", every virtual node denotes an abstract concept induced from a groups of IE(information entity), in which the information entities have similar attribute. The activation of virtual node can be controlled, if the activation transmits backward user can find some concrete information in the IE node layer and if forward then can find more abstract information or cases, so this extension can satisfy the requirement for different user inquiry and raise the flexibility of inquiry.
