A STUDY ON THE SYSTEMATIC WASTE REDUCTION APPROACH FOR PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT PROCESS

A systematic structure of wastes in enterprise production management process is established. The essence of waste and the effective policy for waste reduction are clarified. The relationship between waste and partial optimization is analyzed. A systematic waste reduction policy is proposed based on the analysis. The policy simultaneously considers the influence of the wastes, the resources that can be used to eliminate wastes and the effects of waste reduction. The results of this research can help enterprises to improve their production management system more effectively through systematic waste reduction.
