Research on Economic Operation of Wujiang Cascade Hydropower Stations

摘要

Based on the principle of depositing maximal energy (or water) during a scheduling period, the article proposed a model for Automatic Generation Control of cascade hydropower stations. The genetic algorithm is applied to the model for searching an optimum solution. Thus, an efficient method is provided for economic operation of cascade hydropower stations.
