摘要

Recently, much attention has been paid to resource saving, recycle and to relief of environmental burden in the field of research and development of materials. Since nitrogen is one of the promising elements under these circumstances, a lot of research evolving nitrogen has been conducted. It has been reported that nitrogen bearing steels, which are fabricated by pressurized ESR (P-ESR), nitrogen absorption method (NA), mechanical alloying method (MA), show not only good mechanical properties but also excellent corrosion resistant property. In addition, high nitrogen steel is also available to convert nickel-free high nitrogen steel, which is one of the promising materials in the field of bio/medical use as anti-nickel allergy materials. In this report, nitrogen evolving research topics in the fields of fabrication, mechanical properties, corrosion properties and bio/medical use for anti-Ni allergy materials.
